President Bola Tinubu has secured the All Progressives Congress presidential ticket for the 2027 general election after winning the party’s nationwide direct primary with 10,999,162 votes. His sole challenger, Stanley Osifo, polled 16,503 votes across 8,809 wards where the exercise was conducted.

The result was announced in Abuja by the Chairman of the Presidential Primary Elections Committee, Pius Anyim, who declared the conclusion of the party’s primary elections ahead of the 2027 general polls.

The exercise marks the end of the APC’s scheduled primaries across all levels of elective offices ahead of the forthcoming elections.
