Bola Tinubu on Tuesday commissioned a new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission office in Ado-Ekiti, describing the facility as an important step toward strengthening Nigeria’s anti-corruption framework. The new zonal directorate office is intended to enhance the country’s capacity to combat economic and financial crimes, particularly at the grassroots level.
Representing the President at the inauguration, Kashim Shettima said the state of the art complex reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. The administration views the project as a strategic investment in anti-corruption institutions and a means of improving the effectiveness of efforts to fight corruption across the country.
