OYEBANJI KICKS OFF RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN, PROMISES CONTINUITY IN EKITI

May 06, 2026

Ekiti State Governor and All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, on Monday began his re-election campaign across the 16 local government areas of the state, with the assurance that the state would benefit immensely from continuity of government, alignment, policies and legacies which his second term would represent.

Scores of members of opposition parties defected to the ruling APC as Oyebanji reeled out his scorecards as evidence of his qualifications for reelection in the June 20 governorship election.

The governor, who spoke at Ikole Ekiti and Oye Ekiti, where the campaigns were held on Monday, declared that his sterling performance in the areas of infrastructure development, human capital development, agriculture, peace building and prudent management of resources was clear evidence of his fidelity to electioneering promises.
