Former Lagos State First Lady and former senator representing Ekiti Central, Senator Fatimat Raji Rasaki, has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji following the Supreme Court judgment affirming his election as Governor of Ekiti State. In a statement issued on July 26, 2026, Rasaki described the verdict as a victory for democracy and the rule of law, saying it brings an end to all legal disputes arising from the 2026 governorship election.

She urged political leaders, traditional rulers, youth groups and residents of the state to accept the judgment in good faith and support the Oyebanji administration in the interest of peace, unity and development.

Rasaki also commended Governor Oyebanji for his calm disposition and commitment to governance throughout the legal process, expressing confidence that Ekiti State would witness greater progress under his leadership.
