EKITI SUBEB RESCHEDULES RECRUITMENT INTERVIEW FOR SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES

The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has rescheduled its recruitment interview for shortlisted candidates following the declaration of Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as a public holiday.
According to a public service announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ekiti SUBEB, Mike Omolayo, the recruitment interview will now hold from Wednesday, August 26, to Monday, August 31, 2026.
The exercise will take place at the SUBEB Model Basic School, opposite the Ekiti State House of Assembly in Ado-Ekiti, and will commence at 8 a.m. daily.
The interview will consist of micro-teaching and oral sessions, with candidates scheduled according to their examination scores.
Candidates who scored 60 per cent and above will participate on Wednesday, August 26, with 493 candidates expected.
On Thursday, August 27, 515 candidates who scored between 55 and 59.5 per cent will take part in the exercise.
Friday, August 28, is scheduled for 490 candidates who scored between 52 and 54.5 per cent, while 420 candidates who scored between 50 and 51.5 per cent will appear on Monday, August 31.
The board urged all shortlisted candidates to strictly adhere to the revised schedule and report at the designated venue on their assigned dates.
