The Ekiti State Government and security agencies have assured residents, especially parents, teachers, and students, that schools and communities across the state remain safe. At a meeting with school administrators in Ado Ekiti, security officials emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and urged residents to avoid spreading unverified information that could cause panic.
The Commissioner of Police, Michael Falade, called for stronger collaboration among schools, community leaders, and residents, stressing that security is a shared responsibility. He also assured stakeholders that measures are being intensified to protect lives and property across the state.
Education and security officials further advised schools to strengthen safety measures, comply with government security guidelines, and remain vigilant by identifying vulnerable areas within their communities.
