The Ekiti APC 2026 Governorship Election Campaign Council has described Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election victory as a strong endorsement of his performance and leadership. The council’s Director of Media and Communication, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, said the outcome showed the confidence Ekiti people have in the governor’s administration.

Olatunbosun noted that the victory, recorded across the state’s 16 local government areas, reflected the people’s desire for continuity, stability and development. He added that Governor Oyebanji’s re-election as a sitting governor marked a historic achievement in Ekiti State.

He thanked voters, APC members, campaign teams and stakeholders for their support throughout the election. He also appreciated INEC and security agencies for their roles and urged all political actors to accept the result in the interest of peace and progress in the state.
