DANGOTE REFINERY EXPORTS ₦757BN JET FUEL TO EUROPE IN JUNE

Aliko Dangote's Dangote Petroleum Refinery exported about 466,000 metric tonnes of jet fuel to Europe in June, with the shipment valued at an estimated ₦757 billion, making Nigeria the continent's largest supplier of aviation fuel during the month.
The refinery's exports to Europe doubled from 232,000 metric tonnes in May to 466,000 metric tonnes in June, the highest level since Nigeria became a net exporter of jet fuel in 2024. The volume is equivalent to about 582.5 million litres of aviation fuel.
Meanwhile, jet fuel exports from the United States to Europe declined significantly in June, allowing Nigeria to overtake the U.S. as Europe's leading supplier during the period. Market analysts attributed the increase in supply to higher production from the Dangote Refinery.
