July 10, 2026
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has charged the National Executives and members of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement to refrain from divisive remarks in the course of galvanising support for a fresh mandate for the incumbent President and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akpabio gave the admonition on Thursday at an elaborate event held at Transcorp Hotel to inaugurate the National Executive of the campaign group and commission campaign vehicles to be used for mobilising nationwide support and securing votes for President Tinubu.
The Senate President declared that the campaigns must be issues based, promote the achievements of the present administration. Akpabio, who maintained that every conversation must strengthen national unity and promote democracy, submitted that “politics should never divide us beyond repair.”
